Volume I

Volume I was the name given to issues published on Prodigy (the name was invented only after we began publishing on the WeBB; we had to distinguish between the two somehow). At first, we didn't keep track of issue numbers, and we certainly didn't keep track of dates. Mike Ballway, Executive Editor of SNN, kept track of issue numbers for us, but he miscounted at 9 and 10. As a result, the numbering system is faulty. To correct for this, we call issues 9 and 10 "the lost issues," even though they've never been lost. In fact, they never existed in the first place.

Volume I ceased publication after issue 24 because STF moved from Prodigy completely.

Volume II

"Volume II" was the name given to issues of Headline News published on the WeBB. At first, they were only published in the WeBB OOC. Then, we got creative and tried out issues 7 and 10 in HTML. Starting with issue 20, we published in HTML and various websites and in the WeBB OOC in text. As such, issues 1-6, 8, 9, and 11-19 are in text format only.

Since we didn't keep track of dates, our intrepid research team had to dig through the WeBB archives to find dates for the first twenty issues. Some consecutive issues are listed as being published on the same date; we don't know what's up with that.
